Website Design Process
1. Complimentary Initial meeting
Where we will meet either in person or online to introduce ourselves and discuss what you are looking for (either new website or redesign of existing website). In this step I will walk you through the different options, what each package includes, timelines, etc.
2. Creative Brief
If you choose to work with us, we will then start the process by asking for the initial 50% payment. Then we will send you a creative brief to fill out. This is probably the most important part of the process, because it's where we can start to understand exactly what you are looking for not only visually and style-wise, but also regarding functionality and general needs.
3. First Website Draft
After you fill out the brief and have made your needs/expectations clear, we will start the design process by creating an initial mockup on how your website could look like. We will run this by you and have a few back and forths to make changes & adjustments.
4. Website Backend Work
Once you’ve approved of the visual feel of the website, we will move into the backend work. Which includes making sure the functionality and speed of the website is at its best, ensuring good performance for customer experience and also good SEO results (which will make your website rank better with Google and other search engines - this makes it easier for people on the internet to find you, so it’s very important).
We'll make sure it's unique, fast, and responsive to different mobile devices and screen sizes so that it looks good on any device. We'll design both the front and backend of the site with usability and style in mind.
5. Final Product
When it's ready and exactly how you want it, We will teach you (or someone in your team), the basics of using your custom CMS by sharing the User’s Guide we’ve created.
And finally, your site will be launched into the world!
